Wheel bearing replacement
Front wheel bearing, which is loud or has a lot of slack. needs to be replaced. It is recommended to replace the bearing together with the hub, as it is a simpler repair and requires no special tools (the clamping nut of the outer ring of the bearing has an inner hexagon).
■ Remove the suspension strut and disconnect the steering knuckle from the hub (see description in the previous section).
■ Clamp the switch in a vice.
■ Disengage the hub from the steering knuckle using a puller 1347017004 i 1847017001.
Replace the complete hub or if you have the correct tools, remove the bearing.
■ Pull the inner bearing ring off the hub with the tool 1847215000, if he did not stay with the placenta.
■ Undo the bearing fixing nut and unscrew it with a tool 1857160000. If the nut cannot be unscrewed due to corrosion, it can be partially heated with a burner.
■ Clean thread and bore.
■ Knock the bearing out of the seat through the bushing.
■ Press the new bearing all the way under the press. Pressure may only be exerted on the outer race of the bearing, otherwise it may destroy the bearing.
■ Insert a new clamping nut and tighten it to the torque 59 Nm, without damaging the O-ring.
■ Secure the nut carefully.
■ Place the hub under the baler and push the steering knuckle with the bearing onto it. Pressure may only be exerted on the inner race of the bearing.
Perform the rest of the steps in the reverse order to disassembly.
