IGNITION SWITCH
The ignition switch, commonly known as a key switch, is equipped with an anti-theft lock and prevents the starter from being re-engaged, and in the event of damage, it is not subject to repair.
Replacing the ignition switch is as follows.
■ Remove the steering wheel.
■ Remove the steering column cover.
■ Unscrew the ignition switch, by drilling the mounting screws.
■ Disconnect the wiring harness to the switch.
The circuit breaker is installed in the reverse order. Bend or file the heads of the fastening bolts.
