Engine and suspension tuning

Contrary to appearances, engine tuning does not necessarily mean a decrease in its service life.. Of course, modifications going in the direction of increasing the performance of high-performance cars significantly reduce the durability of the power unit. However, minor fixes, often referred to as "factory improvement", in combination, e.g.. with precise crank balance usually brings longer inter-repair mileage, more trouble-free operation, and sometimes even a reduction in fuel consumption.
Tuning the engine in any range brings with it an improvement in the dynamics of the power unit, and thus improving the performance of the car. It would be a fundamental mistake to leave the standard chassis in the car, which is faster and faster than the original. Tuners therefore prepare entire packages of suspension modifications, adapted to the scope of engine modification. The simplest change is the installation of shock absorbers with greater damping force and harder spring elements. These elements can be purchased for just a few hundred zlotys. By the way, the car is usually slightly lowered (20-30 mm). Instead of the original steel, light alloy wheels are most often worn. Aluminium offer, or even magnesium rims are extremely rich, as well as the very low profile tyres mounted on them. Lighter rims mainly contribute to the reduction of unsprung weight, which has a positive effect on driving and acceleration of the vehicle. Lower tyre profile reduces lateral deflection of its sides, increasing the grip of the tires to the surface. Suspension systems adapted to more "raced" machines predict lowering the car even by 60-80 mm, of course, they require the simultaneous use of hard spring-co-damping elements and much stiffer stabilizers. The most expensive versions of tuned suspensions allow you to change the height of the suspension in the range of several dozen millimeters and adjust the damping force of the shock absorbers. Such changes, however, may cost several thousand zlotys. For only light alloy wheels and low-profile tires matched to them, you have to pay at least 4-6 thousand. zloty. Tuning, however, is not only about modernizing engines and chassis. It is also the conversion of cars into convertibles and the entire industry related to the artistic painting of bodies.. Tuning activities also include commercial offers of all kinds of gadgets, mainly used to beautify vehicles or improve the image of their owners.
